Target group
Electricians from the fields of power generation, transmission and distribution as well as from all other fields whose employees require a switching authorisation

Prerequisites
Previous knowledge of electrical engineering in theory and practice, proof of switching authorisation up to 110/ 155 kV should be available
Goals

  • Deepening electrical engineering knowledge
  • Familiarisation with and consolidation of the principles of safe grid operation
  • Practical implementation of the 5 safety rules for establishing and securing the de-energised state
  • In-depth understanding of the most important aspects of operating extra-high-voltage grids and their special features
  • Safe handling of the switching language

  • Lecture, discussions
  • Numerous practical group and individual exercises on the dispatcher training simulator (SCADA-based)
  • Excursion with practical exercises in a 380 kV substation
  • Theoretical and practical examination
