Annual training for qualified electricians (JEFK)

Zielgruppe

Employees or service providers who are entrusted with carrying out electrical or non-electrical work in electrical installations.
In accordance with Section 12 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the German Social Accident Insurance Regulation DGUV Regulation 1 Section 4, every company must provide its employees with sufficient and appropriate instruction on health and safety at work, in particular on the hazards associated with their work and the measures to prevent them. The instruction must be repeated if necessary, but at least once a year, and documented.

Goals & contents

  • Raising awareness of safe working practices under the premises “Everyone is responsible” and “Occupational safety starts in the mind”
  • Dangers of electrical current (accidents, fires and damage)
  • Accident prevention based on actual accidents from practice
  • Transfer of responsibility in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the regulations of the employers’ liability insurance association, specifically DGUV regulations 1+3, exercising and fulfilling system and work responsibility when working in electrical systems
  • Requirements for persons working in the electrical sector in accordance with DIN VDE 1000-10, DGUV Regulation 3 and TRBS 1203
  • Application of the 5 safety rules in electrical installations
  • Measures required to carry out work in a de-energised state
  • Testing of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with BetrSichV (initial/recurring testing)
