SAFE SWITCHING OFFSHORE
Summary
The “Safe switching offshore” training course is aimed at employees of offshore operators, their suppliers or service providers. Participants learn or refresh their existing knowledge in up to four modules on the subject of safe working on electrical systems in accordance with the requirements of DIN VDE 0105-100, learning the basic requirements for such work and the responsibilities and tasks involved (Module 1). The acquired knowledge is applied to practical examples (Module 2) and there is the opportunity to engage in a topic-related and moderated exchange of experience with participants from other offshore plant operators, their suppliers or service providers beyond the boundaries of their own company (Module 3). The content can also be deepened with internal company guidelines and on the basis of own scenarios on grid simulations in the mobile dispatcher training simulator (Module 4). A very high standard of practical relevance and conformity to standards is applied in all modules in order to ensure safe working as a result of the transfer of learning into practice created by the training.
Learning objectives
- Uniform understanding of roles for all parties involved
- Uniform understanding of safety rules and
protective measures - Uniform cross-company understanding of the sequence of actions in connection with work on electrical systems or in the vicinity of electrical systems
Participants
- Persons directly involved in work on offshore installations
- Persons involved in the preparation process,
until work is carried out on or in offshore installations
